Today is my last day in Santa Cruz. I got up this morning and walked to Westcliff to say goodbye to the ocean - the surfers were out in droves today.

I had a helluva time falling asleep last night - my mind and emotions feel like they're on fast forward. I'm sad to leave, but also excited to have a space where I can really get settled a little more. I don't want to say goodbye to all of the amazing people I've met, but I'm stoked to see all of the familiar faces of people who really really know me. I'll miss the ocean, but greet the rocky mountains.

I can't imagine what the future holds for me back home. I'm scared and thrilled at all of the possibilities.
